What Is The Process?

Website design is a collaborative effort. Here is the general flow of events:

1. After a detailed discovery period where we get to know your business and your needs, we work with you to develop a vision of your site that builds your Web presence. You'll be able to choose from multiple designs.

2. If you haven't chosen a domain name, now is the time. This is the phrase that gives your site its identity, like sanewebsystems.com. We'll help advise you, and can immediately tell you if your choice has been reserved by someone else. Domain names are reserved for as little as one year, and virtually any increment beyond. Domain name registration costs as little as $10 per year.

3. Your site is a collection of files, some text, some pictures, and maybe even sounds. All of this material will need a place to reside - and that's where an Internet Service Provider (ISP) comes in. If you've never procured these services before, never fear. We can match your current needs with an appropriate provider, and set up the account for you. Normally, ISPs charge in one-year increments. For a simple site, you could pay as little as $10 a month.

4. After the domain name, ISP, and design are in place, your site content is integrated. With our experience in content management, the words on the pages will be as polished as the design that surrounds them.

5. When the design and content are paired, you'll have a review period where we'll adjust and fix anything that's not right with the site. At this point, you'll be the only person who sees it, because the site won't be ready for prime time.

6. After you are delighted with the design and content, the site is launched to the public.
